How to become mayor in Agency Life

Mayor of Agency City is the best paid legal job in the game at €130,000 a year, and the city's most visible one. You cannot simply apply for it. You have to meet strict requirements, run a campaign and win an election.
Requirements
To register as a candidate you need all of the following at the same time:

Registering your candidacy
Registering costs €50,000 for the deposit and the campaign office. Your starting poll lies somewhere between 28 and 52 percent, depending on your charm and respect. From then on, the campaign runs until the end of the year, and the votes are counted on New Year's night.
Campaign actions
During the campaign you can do the following. Each action takes time, so plan your days.

Election night
If you are above 50 percent on election night, you move into the town hall. The polls in Agency Life are honest, the result only moves a few points on the night, so you know roughly where you stand. If you lose, you can try again in a later year.
Staying in office
A term lasts five years. Your approval rating rises with good shifts at the town hall and falls with missed shifts, scandals and trouble with the police. If it drops below 25, citizens start a recall and you lose the office immediately. Going to prison ends your term too. In the last year of your term you can register for re-election, otherwise your time in office ends.
Tips for winning
Train charm early with rhetoric courses, study law or business, and stay clean: any criminal record makes you ineligible. Save well above €50,000, because posters and the gala cost extra.
